The 58th Annual Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival to be held on March 17, 18, and 19 in beautiful Central Park and along historic Park Avenue in downtown Winter Park, Florida. Fine artists are invited to apply for this show at Zapplication.org. The application opened August 1 and will close September 26th at midnight.
The Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival, one of the nation’s oldest, largest and most prestigious juried outdoor art festivals, debuted in March 1960 as a community project to bring local artists and art lovers together. It consistently ranks among the top fine art shows in the country. The festival is produced by an all volunteer board and draws an estimated 350,000 visitors each year. Along with the 225 nationally juried fine artists, the three-day event features concerts in the park, a wide variety of quality food and beverages, a schools exhibit of student art and interactive art activities for the kids.
The festival has been ranked by Sunshine Artist Magazine as the No. 1 Best Fine Art and Design Show in the Southeast in 2013 through 2015, and No. 5 in the Nation in 2015. It was also ranked No. 2 in Art Fair Calendar’s 2015 list of America’s Best Juried Fine Art Fairs. The festival is also consistently recognized as Central Florida’s Best Festival by Orlando Magazine, and Best Winter Park Event/Festival by the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce and Winter Park / Maitland Observer.
