WINTER PARK ARTS FESTIVAL
On Friday, Winter Park's Park Avenue will be transformed from a swanky shopping district into a nationally celebrated outdoor festival of art. The three-day Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival will attract more than 350,000 people, a juried art competition, great food and music. There is no out-of-town impresario or economic development agency artificially creating the event for profit. The festival, in its 58th year, is a completely volunteer produced event. Artists around the nation acknowledge the hospitality, respect and profitability the festival provides them. If "art is the accomplice of love," the festival, artists, volunteers and patrons are hopelessly in love.
